Bee Removal
What we do
The work, in detail.
- Antenna-walkway hive removal at the top of the tower — the most common nesting location
- Live-hive identification and species assessment
- Protective-suit access — full PPE, smoker, brush
- Hive relocation to apiarist partners (live, never killed)
- Equipment-shelter cleaning and bee-proofing
- Cable-tray colony extraction
- Same-day callout for active hives
- Post-removal follow-up at 14 days
Where this lives on a site
Almost always at the top of the tower, under the antenna walkway — the platform's underside is warm, sheltered and bee-irresistible. Also encountered inside equipment shelters, in cable trays, and on tower steelwork at lower heights when a swarm has been displaced.
Standards & compliance
- Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act
- OHS Act (working with hazardous biological agents)
- South African Bee Industry Organisation guidelines
- Apiary relocation chain-of-custody
How we deliver
Where this fits in your operation.
Every Glenshade engagement runs the same five-step shape. The same crew that walked the site can hand the as-builts back to your NOC the next morning.
- Step 01

- Step 02

Other services
The full delivery posture.
We're built so that the same crew that walked the tower can hand over to the same crew that does the civils — without a second site visit, a second method statement, or a second invoice cycle.
Next step
Tell us about the scope.
Send us the site list and the standard you work to. We'll come back with a RAMS pack and a quote.
