Generator Services
What we do
The work, in detail.
- Scheduled diesel-generator service — oil, filters, coolant, belts, hoses
- Refuelling on a fixed cadence or against hour-meter milestones
- Load-bank testing — quarterly or per operator MSW (IEEE / NFPA 110)
- Fuel-quality testing — water content, microbial contamination, particulates
- Fuel polishing — recirculation through fine filtration
- ATS changeover-panel verification — mains-to-genset transfer time
- Run-hour logging and annual full-service certification
- Emergency callout when a site is on genset and grid restoration is delayed
Where this lives on a site
At the diesel genset on the right side of the compound — usually an enclosed canopy unit on a concrete pad with an attached fuel tank. Service crews coordinate refuelling against the site's hour-meter log so the next visit never lands on an empty tank.
Standards & compliance
- ISO 8528 (reciprocating engine generators)
- SANS 10089 (fuel storage)
- IEEE / NFPA 110 (emergency / standby power)
- OHS Act 85 of 1993
- Operator-specific genset MSWs
How we deliver
Where this fits in your operation.
Every Glenshade engagement runs the same five-step shape. The same crew that walked the site can hand the as-builts back to your NOC the next morning.
- Step 01
Operator or TowerCo site
Vodacom, ATC, Insite or MAST asset on the National Roaming footprint.
- Step 02
RAMS + method statement
Risk and method pack signed off before any boots reach the gate.
- Step 03
Glenshade crew dispatched
Branded fleet, trackered, marshalled from one of three regional bases.
- Step 04
On-site work — Generator Services
Generator Services happens at this stage — every other step exists to make this clean.
- Step 05
Photographic as-built pack
Geotagged before-and-after, signed checklist, e-mailed within the SLA window.

Other services
The full delivery posture.
We're built so that the same crew that walked the tower can hand over to the same crew that does the civils — without a second site visit, a second method statement, or a second invoice cycle.

Tell us about the scope.
Send us the site list and the standard you work to. We'll come back with a RAMS pack and a quote.
